How Was 2024 For Tezmaksan?

As Tezmaksan, we continued to create valued tools product and services for machinery producers. 2024 was a challenging year for Turkish industry. High interest rates, inflationary pressures, a low exchange rate policy, uncertainties caused by the Ukraine-Russia war, and transformations in the automotive industry negatively impacted industrial growth appetite and investment tendencies. Anticipating these challenges, we took the necessary precautions and, although not highly profitable, managed to achieve a positive performance in the first eight months of the year. In particular, the increasing demand for our automation solutions in international markets strongly supported our export activities and reinforced our decision to further invest in this area. We take pride in contributing to the industry with our globally recognized technological solutions and supporting Turkish industry’s export goals.

This year, Tezmaksan has launched communication projects and initiatives designed to deliver enhanced value to both the industry and society. One of our key projects has been the Parkurda Marketplace platform. Parkurda creates an effective communication network between machinery procures and their suppliers and optimising the local production capacity. Another significant initiative is the Kapasitematik platform, which allows manufacturers to monitor machinery line operating status and efficiency rates in real-time, optimizing production process. Kapasitematik plays a key role in driving digital transformation in the industry, enabling companies to boost production efficiency while reducing energy consumption.

We have also introduced our latest technological solutions at robot exhibitions and various industry events. By participating in national and international fairs such as UTIS (International Machining Symposium), we showcased our robotic automation solutions like CubeBOX, along with innovations focused on digitalization, to industry professionals.

Additionally, we launch social responsibility projects without slowing down. Through Tezmaksan Academy, we support young people in vocational training, helping them gain technical skills. These initiatives not only contribute to societal development but also aim to create a more inclusive workforce in the industrial sector.

In 2024, with the fairs we attended, the events we organized, and our social responsibility projects, we will continue to offer value to the industry, introduce our innovative solutions, and contribute to society.

When Was Parkurda.com Founded?

Parkurda.com, Turkey’s largest subcontracting job and CNC digital platform, was conceptualized in the last quarter of 2020 to meet the machining sector's needs. In 2023, they began testing the Parkurda Marketplace and officially launched it in 2024. To maximize benefits for business partners, stakeholders, and customers, they structured Parkurda.com as the parent brand and established two sub-brands: Parkurda Fasonyeri and Parkurda Pazaryeri.

Why Was Parkurda.com Created? What Benefits Does It Provide to Companies?

Parkurda.com was created with the needs of Turkish industry in mind, with the "Stronger Together" motto, to connect those who need subcontracting services with those who provide them. SMEs can use the platform to shift their production to Turkey’s largest factory. The platform provides a strategic roadmap for companies looking to:

  • Expand their supplier network

  • Compare costs

  • Manage quotes from a single location

By facilitating new job opportunities, Parkurda.com helps companies increase profitability and provides a sustainable production model. The platform enables companies to utilize idle capacity instead of purchasing new machinery, thereby reducing costs. At the same time, Parkurda.com serves as a social responsibility and sustainability initiative, directly contributing to efficiency—one of the key principles of sustainability—by minimizing idle capacity rates.

Which Companies Use Parkurda.com?

Currently, the majority of Parkurda.com members are companies serving the metal industry, followed by subcontracting firms and automotive sector players. The broad participation structure of the platform enables all machining industry members to contribute to Turkey’s economic growth and export potential.

Parkurda.com provides real-time insights into industry activity, helping businesses make informed investment decisions and develop strategic roadmaps. Additionally, machine manufacturers can unite their strengths to create an economy of scale.

How has the industry responded to Parkurda?

As of today:

  • 10 million TL investment has been made in the platform

  • 18,000+ members are registered

  • 2,500+ subcontracting job listings are available

  • 200 million TL in business transactions has been generated

What was the achievement of Parkurda in 2023?

Following the February 6 earthquake in Kahramanmaraş, Parkurda.com created a special section on the homepage for businesses willing to support the disaster-affected region by offering subcontracting jobs. Listings in this section were designed to accept offers exclusively from earthquake-affected provinces such as Hatay, Gaziantep, Osmaniye, Malatya, Adana, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Kilis, and Kahramanmaraş.

Additionally, the Parkurda Marketplace platform was launched. The 2023 focus was on its development, onboarding of vendors, and adaptation of stores to the system. By conducting test orders, the company ensured the platform’s smooth operation before its official launch in 2024.

What Are the Goals for 2024?

This year, Parkurda Pazaryeri aims to:

  • Generate a business volume of 3 million TL

  • Expand participation across all regions of Turkey

  • Increase the number of stores to over 100

  • Grow the number of subcategories from 30 to 70

  • Exceed 10,000 customers

What Are the Future Investment Plans for Parkurda.com?

The primary objectives for Parkurda.com include:

  • Bringing together 40,000 SMEs

  • Expanding the platform internationally

  • Enhancing service quality with new features

The company’s international expansion will first focus on German-speaking countries, followed by the rest of Europe, the United States, and the Far East.

Additionally, a rating system will be introduced, allowing companies to earn scores based on their completed projects, ensuring a fair and transparent quality assessment. A new “Operator” module will also be launched to streamline access to skilled labor in the manufacturing sector.
